The Rebirth Bike Is Born

It started with a rusty old Holdsworth chucked out in the street....

Now with a set of ridiculous 700 x 50 tyres and plenty of gold bling it's a go-anywhere-in-style cruiser.

The tyres are Continental Retro Rides and glide over everything. Luckily they just fit the frame and no more. Talk about tight clearance...

The Shimano Nexus 4 speed gear system that came off the Holdsworth provides effortless smooth shifting every time. Nexus stuff is one of the most impressive Shimano groupsets in my opinion. Pretty indestructible and crazy that it almost ended up in the scrap heap.

The rest of the bike was finished off with some XLC components and whatever else I had lying around.
